Leap Day

Happy Leap Day! Lucy and I went to the Como Zoo, frog exhibit today. The little white blobs on the right side of the picture above are actually tree frogs stuck to the glass in the aquarium. I'm SURE Lucy saw them and was really smiling at them (not the zoo volunteer that was making faces at her from the side).


We also went to Lucy's favorite place, the Aquatic Animal building, where she and Sparky the seal spent some quality time together.

I wanted to get a video out here so you all could see Lucy in action. In the first message I said that I thought the kitty was her favorite. I think she is trying to send a different message in the video.

Ok - here goes. Lucy and I decided that we should be better at keeping you all up to date. We are going to try to get some pictures and stories out here for you all. We'll see how it goes. . .

What's new? Well, Lucy is walking, talking and making us laugh constantly. She has started to say LOTS of words. Some of her favorites are Kitty, Meow, balloon, baby, fishie, Dada and Mama. She says 'meow' the most, I think that means that the Kitty is her favorite! She will also imitate most other words that you say to her.

Well, I hear some grunting and see a red face in the corner. That is probably how many of these posts will end. . .
