A Taste of Minnesota

Lucy went to her first Minnesota Twins game this week. I think she had a lot of fun. We got to walk around the Metrodome, see the sights and smell the smells of the game. Our favorite smell is of an official Dome Dog! Yep, Lucy had her first Dome Dog and she loved it. After the walking and the eating, there was enough energy for the singing of the National Anthem, watching the first pitch and about half of the first inning. Since the game started at 7:10, Lucy was already one tired little girl. It was a good first experience though, next time we'll try to make it through a whole inning.

The next day we went to Red Wing, MN for a little hiking excursion. We hiked up the Barn Bluff Trail and were rewarded with a great view of Red Wing and the Mississippi River when we reached the top.

What fun mid-week events. This weekend Lucy and I are headed to Wisconsin for some camping fun. Hopefully there will be a recap next week.
