Labor Day

One of our Labor Day activities this year was to go to Jeremy's Aunt and Uncle's house for supper and a hay ride. Some of Jer's cousins were home visiting with their kids, which is always fun for Lucy.

Here we are - on our way down for the hayride.
Here is Julie with Kyle.
Bill and Ellie on the hayride.
Here is Alex with his Daddy Greg.
Another cute picture of Alex.
Rachael, Carrie, Todd & Jacob enjoying the ride.
After the hayride, a few of us got a tour of Jodi's amazing garden. Here are some of the multitudes of tomato plants.
There are also peppers, zucchini, beans, herbs, corn, broccoli, squash and pumpkins. I'm sure I'm missing a few things too,
Here is Rachael enjoying a fresh piece of broccoli.Jodi is showing the kids the inside of the bean tepee.
We came home with full tummies, happy hearts and a big bag of veggies. Lucy and I can make some more zucchini bread together now.
